CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

We are looking for a compassionate, responsible Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)'s to work a part time or fulltime schedule. CNA's assist in daily living, medical needs and personal care services. Individuals must follow an established care plan, created in accordance with instructions provided by a medical professional. Candidates must be dependable and serious about the job responsibilities listed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide health care services in patient's residence.
• Perform domestic and household tasks as needed
• Administer simple prescribed medications
• Assist with client's personal care activities
• Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition as needed
• Provide other duties as instructed by supervising RN
• Documentation of services required
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
• CNA's may be responsible for medical cares, within their scope of practice, under the supervision of a RN.
• Willingness to be flexible in work hours as needed

Skills:

• MUST be RESPONSIBLE, DEPENDABLE, AND TRUSTWORTHY
• MUST have excellent communication skills as they are of the utmost importance in this position.
• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
• Experience in cares within scope of skillset preferred.
• Training for individual client medical needs will be done under the supervision of the RN.
• Proficiency in the English language
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Caring and compassionate personality
• Medication Assistants preferred but not required.
• Current CPR certification - preferred, not required
• First Aid training - preferred, but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
