Plumbing Service Technician

Job Summary:

We're looking for an experienced  Plumbing Service Technician who thrives in a consultative, customer-first environment. In this role, you'll diagnose plumbing issues, educate homeowners, and present repair and replacement options that allow customers to make informed decisions for their home and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by educating homeowners on the condition of their plumbing systems.
• Present repair and replacement options that empower customers to choose the solution that best fits their home and budget.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements, upgrades, water quality solutions, fixture replacements, and preventative maintenance.
• Perform repairs in compliance with all local plumbing codes and company quality standards.
• Complete accurate estimates, invoices, and service documentation using mobile technology.
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and professional appearance.
• Participate in ongoing technical and sales training to continually improve your skills and income potential.
• Consistently achieve individual performance, customer satisfaction, and sales goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 2 years of residential plumbing service experience with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven ability to educate homeowners and present Good, Better, Best repair and replacement options.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to identify additional service opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach.
• Knowledge of local plumbing and mechanical codes.
• Journeyman plumbing license is a plus.
• Comfortable using tablets and mobile software to complete estimates and service documentation.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work collaboratively with team members.
• Committed to delivering exceptional workmanship and an outstanding customer experience on every service call.

Work Environment:

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
