Position Overview
We are hiring an Occupational Therapist for Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per-Visit (Pay-Per-Client) arrangements. This role involves working with pediatric patients with a variety of developmental, sensory, behavioral, and motor-based needs.
The Occupational Therapist supports children in developing functional skills that promote independence and participation in home, school, and community settings.
Responsibilities
- Complete evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Address developmental, sensory processing, behavioral, and motor coordination needs
- Provide therapy interventions aligned with patient goals
- Educate and support parents and caregivers on home strategies
- Collaborate with families regarding behavioral and regulation-related challenges
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure)
- At least one year of pediatric experience preferred
- New graduates are encouraged to apply if pediatric clinical rotations were completed
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in pediatric therapy and family collaboration
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Experience or interest in behavioral support strategies
