Help Me Grow Pediatric Rehab Services is seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the welcoming first point of contact for our clinic.
This position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prior experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and insurance processes. Medical office experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who brings the right attitude and foundational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients and families in a warm, professional manner
- Schedule and manage appointments in accordance with office policies
- Complete intake and registration paperwork for new patients
- Assist families with forms, questions, and general clinic questions
- Collect co-payments and verify insurance information
- Obtain Insurance Authorizations
- Follow up on insurance denials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and waiting area
- Develop a working knowledge of the services provided by our clinical team
- Scan, fax, file, and maintain patient records within the EMR system
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff
- Escalate questions or concerns to appropriate team members when needed
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations

Qualifications

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
- Previous office management or personal assistant experience is a plus
