As a Personal Care Aides (PCA), You’ll Work 1-on-1 With Your Clients Inside Their Homes, And Support Them With The Following Types Of Activities
- Light housekeeping, including organizing, laundry and basic cleaning
- Personal activities such as bathing, dressing, and assisting with meals
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of the client.
Eligibility Requirements
- Valid HHA/PCA Certificate
- Valid ID
- Dedication to professional development, including organizational and state-required training
- $150 sign-on bonus is valid for applicants effective 3/1/2025. Sign-on bonus is paid after the caregiver has worked at least 30 days and 40 hours from the start date. Caregiver must be active at the time of bonus payout to receive. Bonuses will be paid within 30 days of reaching eligibility. New caregivers as well as previous caregivers who have not worked for Preferred Home Care of NY a Help at Home company since prior to 3/1/2024 will be eligible for the bonus. Caregivers transferring from an organization within the Help at Home, LLC portfolio of companies are not eligible to receive the bonus.
