As a Behavior Specialist, You Will
- Participate in the development and implementation of Behavior Support Plans
- Collect and analyzing data on the effectiveness of Behavior Support Plans
- Adjust or revise support strategies
- Monitor and train staff and caregivers on implementation strategies
- Submit required documentation to Behavior Consultants
- Travel as needed (20 - 50 mile radius)
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or any other related fields
- At least 5 years of experience in a role involving the support of individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- A valid driver's license, along with access to reliable transportation
- Ability to travel a 20-50 mile radius, as needed
- Availability to work both day and weekend shifts
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify, develop and execute effective training methods
- Compliance with background check requirements, as required by state laws
