Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel within a 20–50 mile radius, as needed.
- Availability to work day and weekend shifts.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify, develop, and deliver effective training methods.
- Ability to meet applicable state background check requirements.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized Behavior Support Plans.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of Behavior Support Plans.
- Adjust or revise support strategies based on collected data and individual needs.
- Train staff and caregivers on support strategies and monitor their implementation.
- Submit required documentation to Behavior Consultants.
