Position Overview
The Retail Allocation Analyst is responsible for supporting inventory placement, replenishment, and allocation decisions across our dealer partners to ensure the right product is in the right location at the right time. This role partners closely with retail inventory analysts to optimize sell-through, reduce stockouts, and minimize excess inventory.
The Retail Allocation Analyst will execute weekly replenishments orders as well as execute assortment changes and markdown strategies to improve inventory productivity across categories, brands, and locations.
This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into practical business recommendations that support revenue growth, customer service levels, and overall inventory efficiency.
This full time Hybrid position is based at our Calabasas Hills, CA headquarters.

Inventory Allocation & Replenishment
- Complete replenishment and allocation activities according to the weekly business schedule
- Create, review, and process replenishment and retail allocation orders across assigned locations.
- Validate recommended order quantities for accuracy prior to submission.
- Monitor inventory movement and replenishment activity to identify and resolve discrepancies, stock issues, or system errors.
- Communicate and work closely with Helmet House retail merchants
- Add, update, or remove seasonal, promotional, one-time and discontinued merchandise from allocation and replenishment programs.
- Support inventory-related requests from field operations and internal departments as business needs evolve.
- Create and distribute overstock, markdown, and send-back reports.
- Update inventory systems to reflect markdowns, returns, and inventory adjustments.
- Communicate with accounting to ensure markdown credits are processed accurately.
- Document and report inventory issues using internal inventory management systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory data across multiple inventory management systems.
- Assist with inventory planning initiatives and provide administrative support as needed.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Field Operations, Accounting, and other cross-functional teams to support inventory and business objectives.
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory planning, inventory allocation, replenishment, supply chain, merchandising, purchasing, or retail operations.
- Experience working with inventory management, ERP, or replenishment systems preferred.
- Retail inventory, allocation, or replenishment experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Airtable, or similar business intelligence platforms is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with inventory reporting and database management tools preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
