Project Engineer - Mechanical (Hobart)

Your responsibilities will span project scheduling, equipment and subcontractor procurement, and document control, among others. This position is for our national mechanical division which is responsible for the HVAC, Plumbing, and Piping scopes of work for new construction projects as well as remodel work in buildings such as hospitals and associated healthcare buildings, sports stadiums, and data center projects. The national division is a traveling group; individuals work on large multi-year projects and then move to the next project in a different location. This role is located in Hobart, IN on a data center project. Individuals will be eligible for a travel stipend once they have been reassigned to their second project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing project schedules.
- Support field labor coordination.
- Procure equipment and materials.
- Manage subcontractor services.
- Maintain document control.
- Coordinate project activities.
- Assist in budget preparation and cost estimation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and design.
Salary & Benefits:
Range: $70,000-$85,000 annually.
