General Manager – Hello! Car Wash

Hello! Car Wash is looking for a motivated, hands-on General Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of one of our locations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who enjoys working with people, delivering excellent customer service, and developing a successful team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the team

• Oversee daily operations and ensure the location runs safely and efficiently

• Provide an exceptional customer experience

• Drive membership sales and help the team achieve sales goals

• Monitor sales, labor, staffing, and location performance

• Create and manage employee schedules

• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and feedback

• Hold employees accountable to company policies and performance expectations

• Ensure the location is clean, organized, and welcoming

• Monitor equipment and communicate maintenance needs

• Manage inventory and ensure necessary supplies are available

• Review and approve employee timecards and attendance

• Handle customer concerns and assist with resolving escalated issues

• Support company promotions, community events, and local marketing efforts

• Maintain a positive, professional, and team-focused work environment

Qualifications

• 2 years of management or leadership experience preferred

• Car wash, automotive, retail, hospitality, or other service-industry management experience preferred

• Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Experience working toward and achieving sales goals

• Ability to manage staffing, scheduling, and daily operations

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and confidently

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive work environment

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software and systems

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed

• Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform hands-on tasks throughout the workday

REQUIREMENTS

• Ensure inventory and supplies are stocked appropriately, tracking usage and ordering as needed.
• Handle scheduling, attendance, and shift coverage to meet operational demands.
• Process customer concerns and resolve issues promptly while maintaining company standards.
• Support sales initiatives such as memberships, promotions, and upselling services.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment and coordinate maintenance or repairs when needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, cash handling, and workplace policies across the site.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with upper management and other locations if applicable.
