Intern - ERP Technical Analyst

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the ERP Manager, the ERP Technical Analyst Intern will provide support related to ERP activities and supporting technologies. Acting as a liaison between the business unit and IT, the ERP Technical Analyst Intern will gain an understanding of select business processes and provide support to the ERP Team in helping HellermannTyton improve its operations. Primary focus will be placed on conducting gap analysis and business process mapping as well as gathering software requirements and system design to improve productivity of a business domain.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in development of the technical strategy/infrastructure to support business strategy (i.e. data management, business intelligence, IoT, etc.) and Processes. Work with the business group to understand and support Business Systems and Process needs, identify projects, build business cases, and facilitate project prioritization.
• Collaborate with Business Leaders on reviews and analysis of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or leveraging existing systems. Include documenting as-is capabilities about business processes, technology, etc
• Assist in technical development and testing of new business processes, capabilities, and supporting technologies
• Assist in analyzing all business requirements and recommend appropriate applications and technology for same and design all data flow charts and diagrams processes and provide effective solutions to all issues.
• Work to drive faster end user adoption and higher proficiency on change impacted on personnel in the organization in order for business results to be achieved.
• Support other analysts in planning, analysis and execution of plans.
• Assist in the facilitation of team meetings by scheduling and developing agendas. Documentation of discussion with action items effectively captured and shared shortly after meetings occur.
• Create and maintain project documentation.
