Hellas, Inc., a TenCate company, is seeking a bilingual Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations at our Fibers plant in Dadeville, AL. This role plays a key part in recruiting coordination, onboarding administration, employee documentation, compliance tracking, and employee support within a manufacturing environment.
The Human Resources Coordinator will serve as a primary point of contact for employees, candidates, and vendors, helping ensure a positive employee experience and consistent HR processes aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, bilingual in English and Spanish, and comfortable supporting both HR and administrative priorities in a fast-paced plant environment.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position based onsite.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources & Recruiting Support
- Coordinate interview scheduling and communicate with candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process
- Support recruiting activities including applicant tracking and data entry
- Assist with candidate selection and interview coordination
- Facilitate onboarding processes, ensuring completion of required documentation such as background checks, drug screens, I-9 verification, and other employment records
- Conduct new hire orientations, including review of company policies, safety procedures, and onboarding documentation
- Maintain employee records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements, including confidential, medical, safety, and disciplinary documentation
- Issue and track documentation related to FMLA and other leave programs
- Monitor and track attendance points in accordance with company policy
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure proper recordkeeping and compliance with company procedures and employment regulations
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and related compliance documentation
- Coordinate required DOT testing in accordance with company and regulatory standards
- Assist with ISO documentation tracking, including maintenance of training records
- Process medical reduction documentation in collaboration with medical providers as needed
Administrative & Operational Support
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, candidates, and vendors, ensuring a professional and positive experience
- Manage vendor interactions, including purchase orders for supplies and services
- Coordinate office and employee resources including uniforms, lockers, and janitorial supplies
- Assist in preparing internal communications and PowerPoint presentations
- Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets used to track operational and facility-related projects
- Support internal communication updates for plant messaging and announcements
Qualifications
Required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources, administrative support, or related field
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of HR processes including recruiting coordination, onboarding, and employee documentation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Preferred
- Experience supporting HR in a manufacturing, industrial, or plant environment
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems
- Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance standards
Work Environment
This position operates onsite at our Dadeville, AL Fibers manufacturing plant, supporting both office and plant-based employees. Regular and predictable onsite attendance is required.

- Ability to stand and walk throughout office and plant areas as needed
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds

Reports directly to the Human Resources Manager
