Line Operator

YOUR TASKS
Line Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up machinery and ensure all production materials are available.
- Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot operating equipment loads, material weights and production speeds to maintain optimal operation of the line.
- Perform regular checks and preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment and components.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the production supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and protocols within the production line.
- Regularly carry out quality assurance tests to ensure product consistency.
- Cooperate and communicate with other team members to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace by upholding cleanliness and sanitation regulations.
- Record operational or production data for reference in future operations or quality control checks.
- Completing all tasks in a timely manner following all guidelines for efficient and safe operation.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Line Operator Qualifications:
- Starting Hourly Rate: $18.50/hr
- Proven experience working as a line operator.
- Extensive knowledge of the operating procedures for production machinery and other equipment.
- Proficiency in adhering to health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Understanding of quality control and basic maintenance procedures.
- Aptitude for mechanical skills.
- Ability to keep a disciplined record of production, service times, costs, and resources.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform moderately strenuous tasks.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work shifts, over weekends, holidays, and overtime when required.
