Application Engineering Lead - ECUs
Forvia Hella is seeking its next great Application Engineering Lead to join our team. The primary function of this role will be to act as the technical interface between our OEM partners and our internal development teams. This individual will be joining a well established and growing global team that is helping to move the automotive market forward.

Daily Responsibilities

• Act as a technical liaison between our OEM partners, program management, product design and development, as well as engineering leadership on next generation ECU products.
• Work actively with the technical program manager to represent the voice of the customer in the development process.
• Own scheduling management for milestones (hardware software, validation) in conjunction with the change control board and project manager.
• Manage system level requirements flow
• Monitor and report o the functions of the product engineering and technical core teams.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 Years experience working within a software development environment.
• Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science or similar
• Heavy communication skills to work with OEM partners on new ECU applications
• Prior understanding and experience working with software architecture strategy.
• Ability to work within a global team environment.
• Prior experience with automotive lighting is preferred but not required.
