Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies
- Assist with food handling, serving, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience
- Assigned tasks as needed by General Manager
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in bars or breweries
- Experience in customer service roles that require excellent communication and guest interaction skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately with basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in busy environments while maintaining high-quality service
- Prior host/hostess or bussing experience is beneficial but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
