Duties
- Analyze supply chain data using advanced tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and production planning—to develop and implement efficient supply chain strategies.
- Utilize ERP systems like SAP ERP, Oracle EBS, and other MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software to manage inventory levels, purchase orders, and demand forecasts.
- Conduct root cause analysis using Six Sigma methodologies to resolve supply chain issues swiftly and prevent recurrence through Kaizen events and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Support demand planning activities by analyzing sales forecasts and adjusting procurement schedules accordingly to optimize inventory management.
- Monitor logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods while minimizing costs through process improvements.
- Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards for executive leadership using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean techniques such as Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
- Assist in the implementation of ERP system upgrades or new modules that improve supply chain analytics, inventory control, or procurement workflows.
- Conduct process audits and participate in cross-departmental projects aimed at optimizing manufacturing workflows and reducing waste.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience working with ERP systems such as SAP ERP, Oracle EBS or similar platforms; familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis; experience with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization is essential.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory management, procurement, demand planning, production planning, and logistics.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, Kaizen or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis effectively using structured problem-solving techniques.
- Experience working with MRP systems (Material Requirements Planning) to optimize inventory levels and production schedules.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of ERP systems integration and upgrades is preferred; familiarity with Power BI dashboards is a plus.
