Caregiver - Assisted Living

Overview

At Helix Forge Assisted Living – A Home of Open Arms, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and high-quality living environment for our residents. We are currently building a team of dependable and compassionate caregivers who take pride in delivering attentive, resident-centered care.

This role is essential to maintaining the dignity, comfort, and well-being of each individual in our home. We are seeking professionals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and genuinely care about the people they serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide attentive supervision to ensure resident safety at all times
• Prepare and assist with meals, including accommodating dietary needs
• Support transportation needs such as medical appointments and grocery trips
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary living environment
• Monitor residents’ condition and report any changes promptly
• Accurately document care and follow all required procedures and guidelines
• Foster a respectful, calm, and positive atmosphere within the home

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or assisted living experience preferred
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and professionalism
• Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team
• Must be dependable and punctual
