Commissioning Technician

The electrical CX Technician will work with the CX Coordinator/ Manager to ensure that construction project documentation meet the standards of quality and reliability established by the Company and follow the guidelines and codes requirements in the electrical industry. The CX Technician will be responsible for the preparation of documentation required for the Commissioning plan defined for the project. The candidate needs to have a strong understanding of Commissioning procedures and protocols.

Duties & Scope

• Prepare and prefill Commissioning documentation related to forms and scripts necessary for the CX/QA plan.
• Prepare and create files for managing CX/QA documentation.
• Maintaining detailed records for forms and documentation related to the Commissioning Process.
• Upload documentation on Commissioning platforms used for the project.
• Prepare and update excel form for tracking documentation required for Commissioning Plan.
• Assist the CX Coordinator in closing out documentation in the Commissioning Plan Software platform.
• Review and ensure that Testing Reports and photos are uploaded on the Commissioning Platform.
• Monitor and Produce reports regarding pending or missing documentation.
• Ensure quality control procedures and safety guidelines are adhered to.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in the electrical construction field
• Reading and using electrical one-line and construction diagrams.
• Bachelor’s degree in administration or engineering field preferred.
• Experience with relevant software, such as MS Office, Autodesk Construction Cloud Build, Egnyte, CX Alloy, Bluebeam, etc.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent data collection and analytical skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork attitude
• Clean OMV, drug test results, and background check
