Helix Electric, Inc. is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Lead to oversee the day-to-day activities of the Prefab department. This position will ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating the clerical tasks for the Prefab department. The daily functions are to ensure shipping documents are processed with accuracy, on time, and in full compliance with all vendor and regulatory requirements, including all product and shipping container labeling requirements.
Duties & Scope:
- Use ERP system to setup shipments, forecast appropriate mode of transportation, verify release dates and quantities.
- Checks in Drivers, use ERP System to looks up purchase orders provided by drivers and directs them to the appropriate dock door or location for unloading of product.
- Verifies list of products unloaded and recorded by forklift driver against a purchase order to determine if all products were received or if there are discrepancies (overages, shortages, damages) in ERP System.
- Ensures proper labels and tickets have been applied before shipping.
- Prints all bills assists in resolving any discrepancies.
- Collects all documentation and routes to the proper record-keeping unit.
- Performs all work in a safety-first mentality and with utilization of lean manufacturing skills.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Answers incoming calls from drivers and gives directions to the facility.
- May direct and oversee the pallet control and exchange program, participate in cycle counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Operate forklift or other equipment to load, unload transport, and store goods.
- Complete additional training courses (Scissor lift, Rigging training, First Aid, etc.)
- Ensure all employees are properly trained
- Verify completed PTP’s of crewmembers
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License
- Valid Forklift License
- 4 years of experience in supply chain and/or shipping/receiving in a manufacturing industry required
- 4 years of experience leading a crew of 3 or more associates
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills with ERP Systems and proficient in MS Excel and Word
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization and administrative skills
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts
- Detail-oriented and multitasking skills

Salary : $46,700 - $59,200
