Position Overview
As an Experienced Residential Carpenter / Builder, you will play a key role in the renovation of single-family and multifamily properties from demolition through final finishes. You'll perform a wide variety of construction tasks while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications.
- Perform rough and finish carpentry, including framing, trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and flooring.
- Install drywall, complete repairs, mud, tape, sand, and prepare surfaces for paint.
- Install luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, tile, and other flooring materials.
- Complete demolition and renovation work while protecting existing structures.
- Perform siding, soffit, fascia, and exterior repair work.
- Assist with roofing repairs and exterior improvements as needed.
- Complete punch-list items to ensure projects are move-in ready.
- Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and project management.
- Troubleshoot construction issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Follow all OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Represent Helida Capital professionally on every job site.
Preferred Experience
We're looking for individuals with experience in several of the following areas:
- Residential remodeling
- Framing
- Finish carpentry
- Drywall installation and finishing
- Flooring installation
- Cabinet installation
- Window and door installation
- Tile work
- Exterior renovations
- Painting and trim work
- General home repairs
- Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge (a plus)
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of residential construction or remodeling experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and building codes
- Experience reading blueprints and construction plans
- Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to safely lift 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Must pass a background check
- OSHA certification is a plus
- Own basic hand tools (power tools are a plus)
