What are the responsibilities and job description for the A&P Mechanics position at Helicopter Jobs?
Maritime Helicopters, Inc. is now accepting resumes for A&P Certified Aircraft Maintenance Technicians with helicopter experience. These positions are primarily Mon – Fri hangar work in Fairbanks, Alaska, but includes some field work, mainly in the summer months, at other locations. Field Work comes additional overtime pay of 2 hours per day, regardless of actual hours worked on aircraft.
Occasional weekends (paid at O/T) and overtime beyond 8 hours required during hangar operations. Basic medical, dental, 401K, etc., also ID90 reduced (up to 90%) airlines fairs. Hourly pay rates and benefits are very competitive, dependent on experience.
Maritime will provide;

Maritime will provide;
- Initial airline travel to Alaska.
- Company housing for 90 days.
- Limited use of company vehicle for 90 days.
- Bell company specific 206,407, 412 and Eurocopter BO-105 training. Rolls Royce Engine Turbine Training, FADAC Training (Some of which is on the job training). Occasionally factory representatives provide onsite training as well.
- MHI sponsored OAS (Office of Aviation Services) carding required after candidate meets the minimum time on type. Requirement for certain government contracts including firefighting.
- Factory school (Bell Factory in Dallas Texas) with longer term commitments once proficient in field maintenance.
