Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Infusion to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients receiving Home infusion therapy such as IVIG, SCIG, Remicade, Entyvio, Stelara, and Iron Infusions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and promote a positive healing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Establish a PIV line for medication administration, and discontinue the line at the completion of treatment
- Administration of IV medications via, PIV, PICC line, Hickman, Ports
- Administer intravenous (IV) medications and therapies such as IVIG, Remicade, Entyvio, as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients during infusion treatments, assessing vital signs, IV sites, and overall condition.
- Educate patients and their families about infusion procedures, potential side effects, and aftercare.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and responses in electronic health records.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures during all procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.
Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour
