Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive first impression
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Manage cash handling and processing of payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and digital transactions
• Maintain knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest relations skills
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and sales processing
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques including OpenTable reservation management
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Strong communication skills for engaging with guests and collaborating with team members
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs effectively
• Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is advantageous for adapting to diverse service styles
• Commitment to food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures

Pay: $2.13 per hour
