Entry Level Assistant Manager

Leadership starts with learning how to communicate, solve problems, and deliver results alongside your team. We're hiring a full-time Entry Level Assistant Manager in Franklin Square to support Verizon customer outreach while developing hands-on experience in sales, campaign operations, and team leadership.

As an Assistant Manager, you'll start by learning the customer-facing side of the business: introducing Verizon services, understanding customer needs, and building confidence through direct sales experience. As your skills grow, you'll learn more about campaign performance, team coordination, and the day-to-day responsibilities that keep a successful sales team moving forward.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Manager

• Connect directly with customers throughout the Franklin Square area and introduce Verizon internet services and promotions.
• Learn plans, features, and current offers to confidently support sales conversations.
• Ask questions about current internet usage and connectivity needs to recommend relevant options.
• Guide interested customers through the sales and enrollment process with accuracy and professionalism.
• Learn how daily outreach, customer feedback, and sales performance contribute to campaign results.
• Work alongside other Assistant Manager team members to support daily priorities and maintain consistent customer experiences.
• Assist with campaign organization and team communication as your knowledge and responsibilities grow.
• Build stronger coaching, problem-solving, and sales skills through hands-on experience.
• Continue developing as an Assistant Manager by learning additional leadership and campaign responsibilities.

Qualifications of the Assistant Manager

• Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with new people.
• Customer service, retail, hospitality, business, marketing, or sales experience is helpful but not required.
• Interested in learning about Verizon products, services, and customer outreach.
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable working toward sales and performance goals.
• Coachable and motivated to develop leadership skills through hands-on experience.
• Comfortable working directly with customers throughout the Franklin Square community.
• Able to collaborate with a team while taking ownership of individual responsibilities.
• Motivated to grow professionally as an Assistant Manager and take on greater responsibility over time.
