Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable APIs using Python
- Provide application and file-level support within a Java-based environment
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues across systems and integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile framework to deliver high-quality solutions
- Support migration efforts from legacy applications to new platforms
- Manage and prioritize a backlog of work, including post-migration cleanup and optimization tasks
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and maintainability throughout the development lifecycle
- Extensive experience developing APIs using Python
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and fix issues efficiently
- Experience working in Java-based environments, particularly in application and file support
- Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Proven ability to manage workload and backlog in a structured and organized manner
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments
- Exposure to application migration projects and post-migration support
- Knowledge of system integration and data flow across distributed systems
