Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and process documentation related to international trade and supply chain finance transactions.
- Process Letters of Credit, collections, and other trade finance transactions while ensuring compliance with bank policies and industry standards.
- Review transaction documentation for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Support due diligence and operational review activities, including sanctions and compliance-related processes.
- Enter and validate transaction data within operational systems.
- Perform quality control reviews to ensure accurate processing and documentation.
- Provide support and guidance to internal partners and customers regarding operational procedures and requirements.
- Collaborate with audit, risk, and compliance teams to support control testing and documentation requests.
- Cross-train across multiple operational functions and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in loan operations, banking operations, financial services operations, document review, or transaction processing.
- Experience reviewing financial, loan, legal, or compliance-related documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Banking, commercial lending, trade finance, or treasury operations experience.
- Experience with Letters of Credit, Import/Export transactions, or Supply Chain Finance.
- Knowledge of OFAC, compliance review processes, or financial due diligence activities.
- Understanding of UCP600, ISP98, and International Standard Banking Practice guidelines.
- General accounting knowledge.
- College degree preferred.
- Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) certification is a plus.
- Experience with trade finance platforms or workflow systems.
- Foreign language proficiency is a plus.
