Lead Automation Developer

What You’ll Do:

• Lead automation efforts for enterprise-level projects, ensuring quality and efficiency across releases.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using Ruby/Cucumber and related tools.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable, automated test solutions for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize delivery processes and improve testing standards.
• Train and mentor team members on automation best practices and emerging technologies.
• Participate in product design discussions and influence technical decisions to enhance testability.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to introduce innovative tools and techniques that elevate quality assurance.
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• 5–7 years of QA experience with strong automation expertise.
• Proficiency in Ruby/Cucumber and experience with frameworks like SpecFlow.
• Solid understanding of TDD, ATDD, and modern SDLC practices.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA/ADO, Xray/Zephyr, SQL Server, and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript).
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (Ruby, Java, or C# preferred).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience designing automation frameworks and performance testing (e.g., JMeter).
• Familiarity with Ruby gems, MVC frameworks, and reusable script patterns.
• Database expertise (Oracle, MS SQL) and service testing experience.
