Job Summary:
Heinrich Chevrolet in Lockport, NY is seeking a skilled experienced GM "A" Level Automotive Technician to join our team. As a full-time Flat-Rate hour technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics in accordance with company standards. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong knowledge of automotive systems and excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a passion for the auto industry.

At Heinrich Chevrolet Factory Warranty Repairs FRH's are paid at industry standard FR times (Mitchell Pro-Demand) LTG. We offer commissions on Parts & Labor sales as well as FRH productivity incentives. We also offer mentorship compensation for up to 2 apprentices. We offer a weekly clock hour guarantee.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, FR hourly position with a competitive salary of $100,000 to $135,000 per year, paid weekly. In addition to base compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401k retirement plan.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of makes and models
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately troubleshoot problems
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts, time, and labor
- Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs needed and provide accurate estimates
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Continuously update skills and knowledge through training and development opportunities
- 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or completion of an Automotive Education Program.
- ASE certification preferred, but not required (we pay for ASE courses and time spent)
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Valid driver's license
