Heimdall Fire & Safety is growing and looking for motivated team members to join our crew supporting critical systems aboard U.S. Navy vessels and shipyard facilities.
This is a hands-on opportunity to work on fire detection systems, 1MC communication systems, temporary power, and electrical infrastructure projects while building a long-term career with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities:
• Run, install, and dress Cat5/Cat6 cable
• Install and troubleshoot fire detection systems
• Install speakers, pull stations, smoke detectors, and other low-voltage equipment
• Assist with temporary power and communication systems
• Read basic drawings and installation plans
• Work safely in industrial and shipboard environments
• Climb ladders, lift equipment, and work in confined spaces as needed
✅ Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working in shipyards and industrial environments
• Ability to work up to 10-hour shifts and occasional weekends
⭐ Preferred Experience:
• Fire alarm systems
• Low-voltage or electrical installation
• Navy or shipyard experience
• Cable termination and troubleshooting
• OSHA certifications or shipyard badges
