What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Accounting Clerk position at HEIMARK DISTRIBUTING LLC?
We are actively looking for an Inventory Accounting Clerk to join our administrative team. The position is responsible for maintaining and accounting for the inventory of the company. The position performs daily processes to ensure that inventory accounting transactions are complete and accurate. This is an in office position; the days of work are Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

Responsibilities
The position is responsible for the following job functions:
- Validate inventory received is accurate
- Resolve and post inventory variances with warehouse staff and suppliers
- Match inventory invoices to receipts and post in software system
- Process payment of invoices for inventory receipts
- Process electronic fund transfers (EFT’s)
- Work with inventory suppliers to resolve discrepancies
- Prepare periodic governmental reports and filings
- Maintain and update accurate documentation of processes
- Prepare various accounting reports and reconciliations
- Perform the duties of the receptionist, cashier and accounts payable clerk as needed
- Other administrative activities and special projects
Qualifications:
Requirements
- Must have strong analytical and organizational skills
- Must be able to multi task in a fast paced environment
- Previous experience in an office environment required. Accounting or Accounts Payable experience preferred.
- Beverage on the Web and VIP green screen experience or ability to quickly learn computer applications
- Advanced computer and Microsoft Office skills (must have an extensive knowledge of Excel)
- Inventory accounting experience a plus
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills
- Quick learner, easily trained and adaptable to changing environments
- Self-motivated to meet project timelines
- Strong team player and willingness to help others
