Class A CDL Logistics Driver

Job Summary

We are actively looking for a motivated and dependable Overnight Logistics Driver to join our delivery team in Perris area. Overnight Logistics Driver requires a valid commercially licensed truck driver who will be responsible for transporting goods from one point to another. This position generally works from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The normal days of work are Sunday through Thursday. Overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Overnight Logistics Driver is responsible for the following job functions:

· Operate commercial vehicle to transport products to sites in a safe and efficient manner

· Perform pre-and post-trip inspection on the truck and trailer for safe operation of vehicle and record issues

· Maintain delivery schedule

· Apply knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill when maneuvering vehicle in all situations

· Ability to work safe and smart

· Ability to effectively communicate with managers, coworkers, and retailers

Requirements

· High school diploma or GED Equivalent

· Current (Class A) Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

Doubles/ Triples endorsements required (must have within 90 days of hire).

· Clean driving record

· Accountable to follow all laws and regulations

· Flexible with start times and work assignments

· Clean driving record

· Obtain a DOT medical card

· Ability to work independently without direct supervision

· Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs. and be able to fulfill other physical requirements including: Repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs overhead), bending, pulling/pushing (Push/pull up to 340 pounds on a two-wheeler)
