Job Summary
Heil Transportation is looking for multiple full time Class-A CDL drivers to join our growing milk hauling team — currently hiring in Clymer, NY and Machias, NY. We’re a trusted Western New York milk hauler serving the tri-state area with a modern, well-maintained fleet. Duties
- Picking up milk from local farms
- Delivering to processing plants - this includes various physical tasks such as lifting, connecting hoses, climbing ladders, etc.
- Provide professional, courteous service to farmers and plant staff.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Accurately completing paperwork and/or data entry on mobile apps
- Communicating with dispatchers and facility staff
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
- Milk or liquid bulk hauling experience preferred
- Active Milk Samplers license, or willing to learn
- Ability to climb tank ladders and other driving related duties
- Available weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to read and speak english proficiently
