What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Intern position at Heights Wellness Retreat?
About the Role:
As a Marketing Intern, you'll work alongside our Marketing team to support national marketing initiatives for Massage Heights and Heights Wellness Retreat. This hands-on internship offers experience across social media, content marketing, lifecycle marketing, email and SMS campaigns, and franchise marketing operations. You'll contribute to projects that help build practical marketing skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and maintain the national social media content calendar for Massage Heights.
- Write engaging captions and marketing copy for social media, email, and SMS.
- Develop local social media content templates for franchise locations.
- Schedule and publish social media content across Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
- Assist with scheduling and managing lifecycle marketing campaigns to support guest engagement and retention.
- Assist with the creation and scheduling of email, SMS, and app notification campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on content creation, campaign planning, and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor social media trends and recommend new content ideas.
- Help organize and maintain franchise social media accounts.
- Track campaign performance and assist with reporting and marketing analytics.
- Support additional marketing projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and current content trends.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Comfortable creating short-form content, photography, or video.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn.
- Interest in digital marketing, social media strategy, and franchise marketing.
