We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and organized station, and ensuring that every plate meets our standards of excellence.
Station Management: Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies; prep ingredients for service.
Cooking & Execution: Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery.
Quality Control: Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and according to specific recipes and presentations.
Food Safety: Maintain a clean work environment and follow all health and safety regulations (FIFO, temperature logging, and sanitation)
Experience: Minimum of [2] years of experience as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook.
Technical Skill: Proven ability to operate standard kitchen equipment (grills, fryers, ovens) and excellent knife skills
Knowledge: Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and sanitation procedures (ServSafe certification is needed).
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, work in a hot environment, and lift up to [40] lbs.
Soft Skills: Must be a team player with a positive attitude, capable of handling high-pressure situations during "the rush."
Availability: Must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
