What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaner position at Heights Fitness?
We are looking for someone for our Keary location to do deep cleaning of the facility. The cleaning will be what the desk staff is not able to get to during normal staffed hours. This position requires you to deeply clean and sanitize the gym as we pride ourselves in offering a safe and clean environment for our members to work out in.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize work out areas, changing rooms, shower rooms, and bathrooms
- Dust, sanitize all gym equipment, fixtures, and surfaces
- Deeply Vacuum and mop floors
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor
- Follow cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
The purpose of this job is to do deep cleaning which will require you to be thorough in your work.

- Attention to detail: Ability to notice and address small details in cleaning tasks
- Time management: Efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
- Physical stamina: Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods of time
- Communication: Effective verbal communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing schedules or tasks as needed
Schedule
Hours: Flexible scheduling
Compensation
Probationary Rate: $18/hr
Onboarded Rate DOE: $20/hr - $25/hr
