The Role

As a Refrigeration Repair Helper, you will work directly alongside our lead technicians to assist with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and residential refrigeration systems. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who wants to learn the trade and build a rewarding career.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration units, commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, exhaust fans, etc.).
• Prep work areas, load/unload equipment, and ensure the workspace is kept clean and safe.
• Use hand and power tools effectively and safely to complete job tasks.
• Interact with clients in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner.
• Maintain inventory and organization of parts and tools in the company vehicle.

Requirements (Please read carefully)

• Age: Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Mechanical Skills: Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and know how to confidently work with basic tools.
• Tools: Must own your own basic hand tools (specialty tools will be provided).
• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the shop/jobsites. Most days will meet with tech and ride to sites in the company vehicle.
• Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills are an absolute MUST. You will be representing our brand in front of clients, so a positive attitude and clear communication are essential.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
