Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and systems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on motors, electrical panels, circuits, and related equipment.
- Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, insulation testers, thermal imaging equipment, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, company policies, and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC systems and industrial automation equipment.
- Install, program, modify, and support PLC-controlled machinery.
- Interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and system performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment history.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience performing industrial electrical maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring practices, and electrical safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Experience using electrical testing equipment, including multimeters, insulation resistance testers, and thermal imaging cameras.
- Demonstrated experience working with PLC systems
- Strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma, technical certification, or associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency initiatives and electrical optimization practices.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs), HMIs, servo systems, and industrial networking is a plus.
