Heiden LLC is hiring an Associate Manager – Crane Attachments to support daily operations, customer engagement, and marketing initiatives within our growing Crane Attachments business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Business & Operational Support

• Support day-to-day Crane Attachments operations
• Assist with customer inquiries, orders, and issue resolution
• Coordinate with production, engineering, purchasing, and logistics

Customer & Commercial Support

• Support existing customer relationships
• Assist with quoting, pricing coordination, and order follow-up
• Participate in customer calls, site visits, and trade shows

Marketing & Growth Support

• Support website updates, product literature, and sell sheets
• Coordinate with external marketing partners
• Help manage timelines and approvals for marketing initiatives

A Typical Day Might Include

• Checking in on open orders and customer requests
• Coordinating with production on delivery timing
• Gathering product details for marketing updates
• Joining a customer call or internal planning meeting
• Helping prep materials for an upcoming trade show

Role Description

The Associate Manager is a full-time on-site role located in Manitowoc, WI. The individual will oversee daily operations, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely. Key responsibilities include providing leadership and support to team members, optimizing workflow processes, coordinating cross-departmental communication, and contributing to operations strategy. The role also involves ensuring quality standards are maintained, supporting project planning and execution, and fostering innovation to solve operational challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong operational and management skills, including team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic planning
• Proficiency in using ERP and project management tools for workflow optimization and production scheduling
• Knowledge of custom metal fabrication, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance practices
• Technical skills in CAD and drafting software or design engineering tools are preferred
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred
• Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing or related industry is highly desired
