What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites on schedule
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle is clean and properly maintained
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and plant personnel to coordinate deliveries
- Accurately complete delivery tickets and required documentation
- Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures at plant and job sites
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and comply with all traffic regulations
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
- Effective communication and customer service skills in a team-oriented environment
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, lifting, and maneuvering equipment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
- $20.60 to $25.67 per hour
