What You'll Be Doing
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including loaders, for aggregate production.
- Load material efficiently and safely into haul trucks or crushers.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols in a dynamic quarry environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
- Proficient in operating heavy machinery with a strong focus on safety.
- Capable of working independently and within a team setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA-regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
- $24.76 per hour.
