- Performs material handling activities, as needed, using overhead cranes, front end loaders and other mobile equipment
- Locate, monitor and perform field inspections on all Plant equipment
- Make minor mechanical repairs.
- Initiate necessary actions (report on, operate, repair, clean, feed, adjust, etc., plant equipment as required by supervisor)
- Assist maintenance department personnel as needed
- Perform preventive maintenance inspection and check lubrication systems
- Perform whatever work as needed on preheater tower, such as operate cardox, blasters, air/water lances, clean ducts and vessels, inspect/troubleshoot equipment
- Assist in laboratory product sampling and procedures
