What You'll Be Doing
- Operate front-end loader to move, load, and stockpile aggregate materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect equipment daily and perform basic preventive maintenance and reporting
- Coordinate with plant and truck drivers to ensure accurate blending, loading, and material flow
- Maintain clean, organized work areas including haul roads, stockpiles, and loading zones
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations at all times
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a fast-paced industrial setting
- Strong attention to safety, detail, and operational efficiency
- Effective communication and teamwork skills across crews and functions
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify and report equipment issues
- Reliability, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during shifts
- Capability to climb ladders, steps, and equipment multiple times per shift
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds as needed
- Manual dexterity to operate controls and perform inspections
- Visual and auditory acuity to safely operate equipment and recognize hazards
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
- Starting Pay $26.00 per hour DOE
