Compensation

Salary Range: $165,000.00 - $175,000.00 Annually

Overview

The Enterprise Director of Revenue Management provides strategic leadership and oversight for a portfolio of hotels, driving revenue optimization, commercial performance, and talent development across the organization. This role partners closely with Regional Vice Presidents, General Managers, Directors of Revenue Management, Sales leaders, and ownership groups to develop and execute revenue strategies that maximize RevPAR, market share, profitability, and total hotel revenue.

The Enterprise Director is responsible for ensuring consistent execution of revenue management best practices, driving accountability to company and brand standards, developing high-performing revenue leaders, and leading strategic initiatives that advance the organization's commercial objectives. This position requires frequent travel to hotels throughout the United States, averaging up to 50% of the time.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Directors of Revenue Management, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and commercial excellence.
  • Drive RevPAR, market share, ADR, occupancy, and total revenue performance by evaluating market conditions, forecasting demand, optimizing pricing, inventory controls, market segmentation, and distribution strategies.
  • Partner with Regional leadership, General Managers, Directors of Sales & Marketing, and Directors of Revenue Management to establish clear commercial strategies and ensure disciplined execution.
  • Lead weekly revenue strategy meetings, providing guidance on transient pricing, group displacement, inventory management, overbooking strategies, channel optimization, and demand forecasting.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, identify risks and opportunities, and proactively recommend strategies to improve revenue and profitability.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, economic conditions, and future demand to develop both short- and long-term revenue strategies.
  • Provide strategic oversight during annual budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and reforecast processes for Rooms and Food & Beverage revenue.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and quarterly performance evaluations to assess hotel performance, validate strategic direction, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company revenue management standards, reporting requirements, and brand revenue management policies.
  • Partner with ownership groups and participate in owner presentations and business reviews as needed to communicate performance, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead the rollout and adoption of enterprise revenue initiatives, new technologies, systems enhancements, and commercial best practices across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Digital, Reservations, and Operations to ensure alignment on commercial priorities and revenue optimization initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop revenue talent, supporting succession planning, onboarding, training, and career development across the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive hotel revenue management experience, including multi-property responsibility preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Director of Revenue Management with at least two major hotel brands (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, or similar) strongly preferred.
  • Prior leadership experience developing and managing high-performing revenue professionals.
  • Frequent travel to hotels throughout the United States, averaging up to 50% of the time.
  • Ability to support hotels across multiple U.S. time zones, including Eastern and Pacific.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support business needs, openings, owner meetings, or strategic initiatives.
  • Expert knowledge of hotel revenue management principles, pricing strategies, inventory controls, forecasting, and distribution.
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of hotel performance metrics including RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy, Market Share, RGI, MPI, ARI, and channel performance.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment among Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Ownership.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive-level relationship management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution across a diverse hotel portfolio.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop leaders at varying levels of experience.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
