We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estimator with experience in civil construction to join our team in Dallas, Texas.
Responsibilities:
Sound organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, Geotech.
Prepare bids, select vendors/subcontractors and estimate 'self-performed' crew compositions and production rates.
Make scope of work determinations and perform quantity take-offs.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients.
Communicate and collaborate with wide range of individuals, including both Operations and other Estimating team members
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, means, and methods); supervision, estimating, schedules, budget, and safety.
Knowledge of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA and safety requirements.
Valid driver's license.
Experience with Agtek Earthwork take-off software is preferred.

Willingness to cooperate in a team environment.
Demonstrate 100% detailed understanding of project scope.
Demonstrate knowledge of Heavy Civil construction. Specifically, earthwork, underground water, underground wastewater, underground drainage and street/highway construction.
Education and Experience:
Education: High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's Preferred).
Experience: Over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on heavy civil construction projects, including structure projects, and experience in estimating projects ranging from $1M to $50M.
