101.7 KSAM (Country) and 94.1/104.9 The Lake (Classic Hits) seek a community-focused on-air host and producer. Responsibilities include leading the KSAM Wake-Up Morning Show with a co-host, interviewing studio guests, producing audio content, voice tracking additional shifts, hosting remote broadcasts, coordinating promotions, and engaging with the local community.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with fun staff of radio pros
- Produce entertaining and informative content and live broadcasts.
- Maintain FCC license compliance.
- Monitor music and commercial logs during shifts.
- Execute promotions and contests correctly.
- Operate the control board and handle production tasks.
- Attend station events and remote broadcasts.
- Manage and create content for all social media platforms and online presence.
- Voice and produce commercials, promos and imaging.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required:
- Skilled conversationalist and storyteller
- Prepared, organized, and brings creative ideas to work
- Passionate about mainstream, classic, Texas, and red dirt country music
- Shares personal experiences in an engaging, relatable way
- Strong social media skills with proven content creation ability
- Collaborative team player focused on radio and digital excellence
- Valid driver’s license and, if using personal vehicle, proof of insurance required
