Healthcare Receptionist/Intake - Substance Use Disorder (Part-Time)

Oakdale Recovery Center (ORC) is a treatment facility for adults with substance use disorders. ORC provides intensive, structured, 24-hour medically monitored services for adults struggling with a wide range of drug, alcohol and mental health concerns. We offer comprehensive treatment services and offer each resident follow along supports that begin with the withdrawal/detoxification process and extend through aftercare following residential treatment.

POSITION IS PART-TIME: Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8:00am - 4:30pm

The office support roles is key to the department's’ inner workings. Candidates should exude customer service, be extremely organized and a strong multi-tasker.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED
• One plus years office experience, healthcare preferred
• EHR experience
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel

RESPONSIBLITIES (summary):

• Answer telephone calls resolving inquiry or directing call as appropriate
• Greet visitors and/or patients entering the office
• Prepare departmental material for consumers and/or patients as program or facility dictates
• Create and/or edit documents or spreadsheets to support departmental operations
• Organize and maintain departmental files
• Maintain records to comply with Hegira policies, state and county requirements
• Receive, disperse and handle incoming mail
• Record retention and archiving as needed
• Maintain clinics’ off-site record storage documentation information and assist in facilitating annual destruction of same
• ROI Record/Document Processing and Management
• Update information in EHR

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
