What are the responsibilities and job description for the AutoCAD Draftsman position at Heger Dry Dock, Inc.?
Heger Dry Dock has an opening for a full time AutoCAD Draftsman to work on the designs of new and existing marine structures in our office in the Metro West Boston area.
Primary responsibility will entail assisting lead designer in creating structural design drawings using AutoCAD.
Assist engineers in field inspections of shipyard facilities to survey the condition of marine structures for the basis of issuing certification. Expected travel may be approximated as 1 week every other month.
Qualifications:
0-5 years of experience in the construction or design of structures
High school diploma
Ability to climb structures and inspect confined spaces
Ability in Excel, Word, and AutoCAD (preferred)
US citizenship required
