Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Satellite Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of satellite systems and telecommunications equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of computer networking, fiber splicing, and low voltage electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Install, configure, and maintain satellite systems and related telecommunications equipment.
- Perform fiber splicing and cabling tasks to establish reliable connections.
- Conduct network installations including Cisco routers and Ethernet setups.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter for troubleshooting purposes.
- Provide field service support to customers, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and equipment installed.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and efficiency.
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge in the handling of various telecommunication devices.
Experience Must have experience Installing DIRECTV, Dish network, Hughes-net or vissat.
You will be installing Starlink satellite Internet for customers in your area.

- Proven experience as a service technician in the telecommunications field is preferred.
- Familiarity with computer networking principles and practices is essential.
- Experience with low voltage electrical systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of telephony systems and cabling techniques will be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in the field while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
