Press Helper will be responsible for the set up and operation of offset or variable data printing machines. Support to bindery may also be a learning opportunity.
- Assist with the set up of the off-set machines, ensuring paper and ink is staged and ready for use
- Ensure machine area is clean and safe
- Learn to clear machine errors and other minor technical issues
- Be available to support other areas of production as needed
Requirements
What you will need to have:
- Proven ability to read, write, and communicate
- Basic computer skills (data entry, PC navigation)
- Ability to stand 95% of your shift and lift up to 50 pounds
What would be great to have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to distinguish color variations and use various measuring devices
- Use of basic math skills
