Position: Sanitation Technician

Pay Rate: $17.60 /hourly

Location: Lodi, CA

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance within a manufacturing facility. This role is critical in ensuring the facility meets food safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and sanitation standards.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has experience with cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and sanitation protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning and sanitation of equipment, tanks, and utensils using high-pressure hoses and specialized tools
• Clean and sanitize floors, walls, ceilings, drains, and ventilation systems
• Safely handle and apply chemical cleaning solutions to eliminate contaminants
• Maintain proper chemical storage and safety procedures
• Transport waste materials to designated disposal areas
• Follow all Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures when required
• Maintain accurate and detailed sanitation records and logs
• Ensure compliance with GMPs and food safety regulations
• Work efficiently in environments that may include wet, slippery, or cold conditions
• Maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications

• Previous sanitation or cleaning experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred
• Knowledge of GMPs, SSOPs, and safety procedures is a plus
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
